So you've created this great website, put in all sorts of great graphics to better explain your product and/or service, and optimized it for your target audience. Now it's time to just sit back and watch the traffic flow in, right? WRONG! One of the most common misconceptions about search engine optimization (SEO) and link building is that it will just happen on its own. SEO and link building takes time and effort. Simply creating a website isn't enough anymore unless you have specific campaigns designed to drive traffic to your website.

Social Bookmarking is a great way to drive traffic to your site. From just one submission to a StunbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, etc. can drive hundreds of visitors to site on a daily basis. The key to doing this though is constantly changing and updating your content and having content that will be useful to your visitors. No one wants to read about how great you think your own product(s) or service(s) is/are, they want to find answers to THEIR problems. If you can find a way to answer questions and solve problems that are relevant to your visitors, the rest will take care of itself.

The main problem with social bookmarking is that it takes time, a lot of time. You have to create an account at every one of the social bookmarking sites, fill out a profile, submit the links, describe your submission, and verify you are not a machine. Going through the 5-8 step process at each site can get really frustrating, but trust me, it is worth it in the end.

There is a free solution out there that can help with this process and make submitting your website(s) to social bookmarking a breeze. The solution is called Social Marker. Social Marker allows you to submit your website or link to 47 different social bookmarking sites in under 15 minutes! (The first time you go through the process will take longer though as you have to register a profile at each site you choose to submit information to, but after that, it's a breeze!)

One of the best parts of this service is that I haven't receive one unwanted email after signed up with all these sites. I highly recommend you check this site out and take advantage of this incredible tool!
